Alan Grahame - Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales

Alan's global perspective and sales expertise suit him well in his role as leader of Ixia's worldwide sales organization. Alan joined Ixia in 2007.

Alan has 30 years' experience in the communications industry at companies such as Hewlett Packard and Agilent Technologies, where he held key positions in sales and sales operations. Most recently, Alan served as worldwide vice president of Customer Operations in Agilent's Operational Support Systems Group. Alan also has both lived and led business activities in Asia and Europe, two key growth areas for Ixia.

While at Agilent and HP, he participated in executive development programs that included a leadership forum at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He has also spoken extensively about using quality principles within a sales and marketing environment. His bachelor's degree in electrical and electronic engineering was earned at Woolwich Polytechnic (now the University of South Bank) in the U.K.
