Anupam Sahai - Vice President, Marketing

Anupam Sahai is responsible for leading marketing and strategic business planning at Ixia. His goal is to help expand Ixia's leadership in the currently emerging fields of network convergence testing, converged applications such as triple-play/IPTV, converged network monitoring, and to help identify other potential new areas of growth.

Anupam brings 19 years' experience in high tech to Ixia, which he joined in 2008. Prior to joining Ixia, he served as senior director and general manager, Software Products and Applications for the Voice division at Polycom Inc. Previous positions included various senior management roles at Microsoft, Silicon Graphics Inc., and Hewlett Packard. Throughout his career, he has distinguished himself through his ability to identify new business and growth opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, lead the rapid development of innovative products and rapidly bring these products to market.

Anupam holds undergraduate degrees and a master's of Technology, Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), India, and a master's of science degree in Management and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He holds several patents in the area of networking, Internet technologies, and multimedia.
