IxYukon is the latest evolution of Ixia's solution for testing 10 Gigabit Ethernet devices and networks. IxYukon interface modules are used with Ixia's latest XM family of chassis: the XM12 and XM2. IxYukon's high-density packaging provides an incredible 96 ports of 10 GbE in a 10U rack-mount chassis and 16 ports in a portable configuration.
IxYukon ports are also the most affordable in the industry, making it feasible to test your 10 GbE devices and networks with their full complement of 10 GbE ports. With high-powered CPUs and memory per-port, each powerful port can match your device's capacities.
Leveraging Ixia's converged testing applications, IxYukon tests all layer 2-7 functions. All networking functions, from switching to routing to VPN operation to application networking can be tested at scale. IxYukon's high scalability, flexibility, and affordability minimize your CapEx requirements by obviating the need for multiple test systems.
This unprecedented IxYukon solution for network and application testing provides four times the 10 GbE port density of Ixia's nearest competitor. When used with the Ixia XM12 chassis, Ixia's solution offers a greener testing alternative, requiring just one-quarter of the laboratory space, one-half the power consumption and lower heat generation.
