Ixia Launches Fusion Initiative to Support Upcoming Acquisition of Agilent Technologies' N2X Product Line
Offers continued N2X development and support through 2015
CALABASAS, CA, October 21, 2009 – Ixia (Nasdaq: XXIA) has launched its Fusion initiative in conjunction with its upcoming acquisition of Agilent’s N2X product line. Fusion will provide Agilent’s N2X customers with continued product development, integration with Ixia’s IP test solutions and extended support. Ixia is committed to embracing the N2X platform and its customers, as well as extending the strengths of N2X.

Fusion will:
- Protect N2X customer investment with continued product development and enhancement, including support for the N2X product line through 2015.
- Provide a transition path to Ixia’s higher scale, higher density, 10, 40 and 100 Gbps IP Ethernet test solutions that feature real-world application testing from the wireless edge into the Internet core.
- Provide a free, seamless migration of the N2X Application Programming Interface (API) to the Ixia platform and ensure that N2X APIs will work across both N2X and Ixia test applications.
