IxDefend

IxDefend™ is a pre-emptive robustness analysis platform for assessing the integrity of networked devices.

The IxDefend platform utilizes a unique simulation engine that understands protocols' state machines to intelligently implement targeted attacks. This state-aware attack engine simulates the peers of a system and drives protocol implementations through state machines to conduct a variety of systematic attacks. Intelligent direction is used to direct attacks against known and unknown vulnerabilities — providing a more efficient alternative to random “fuzzing” tools.

Ixia's IxDefend is a pre-emptive robustness analysis platform that

• Analyzes the security of networked devices
• Assesses how devices react to malformed content
• Measures the impact of threat exposures to key performance indicators (KPIs) such as uptime and availability
