Today’s IP networks have evolved beyond providing basic local and global connectivity that use traditional routing and packet-forwarding capabilities. Ixia's IxLoad solution is engineered to minimize application performance testing development time, yet still maximize test thoroughness. This permits equipment manufacturers and service providers to get to market faster with higher-quality, faster-performing products. IxLoad thoroughly tests application-aware devices, measuring layer 4-7 performance of all types. A highly refined GUI makes test development and results analysis quick and easy - and reduces product and network certification time.

Ixia's new Acceleron-NP load module tests the high performance of content-aware devices and networks. Due to the growth of and types of traffic sent across enterprise networks and the Internet, traffic processing devices must operate at much higher performance levels. Acceleron-NP can emulate over 4.5 million users and sustain up to 10 million connections. To test devices’ ability to maintain a steady rate of users, an single Acceleron-NP modules can generate 800,000 connections per second. It emulates data, voice, and video and the associated protocols for performance testing. Unique and advanced subscriber modeling capabilities create realistic scenarios to validate subscriber quality of experience (QoE).

IxLoad - a highly scalable, integrated test solution for assessing the performance of multiplay networks and devices. IxLoad emulates subscribers and associated protocols to ensure subscriber Quality of Experience (QoE). Protocols supported include HTTP, SSL, FTP, SMTP, POP3 and IMAP.
