Strike Center Moves to Ixia Support Site

Beginning on Monday, December 12, we will be rolling out updates to the Ixia support site at https://support.ixiacom.com. Changes to the site include these improvements:

  • Consolidate the existing BreakingPoint® (BPS) and Strike Center portal with our single support portal located at https://support.ixiacom.com
  • BPS users will need to maintain only one login/password, instead of having a set of credentials for each portal
  • Software downloads and documents can be found on a single location, instead of going to multiple, product-line-specific portals
  • Create service cases in the same resource where you find software downloads and documents
  • Customers may request that employees be given additional permissions as a manager or executive for the purposes of creating and reviewing support cases. Please send your request to entitlement@ixiacom.com 

Who is Affected?

All customers who previously made use of the support website for BreakingPoint products (https://strikecenter.ixiacom.com/bps/login)

Note: If you previously created an account on https://login.ixiacom.com as part of registration for the latest version of IxChariot, IxLoad, IxNetwork, or Ixia IoT, you do not need to create your account again.

How to access the new resource

The new customer support site may be accessed directly by going to https://support.ixiacom.com, or you can navigate to the support site from our main website https://www.ixiacom.com.

What is the plan for the existing portals?

The BPS portal (https://strikecenter.ixiacom.com/bps/login) will continue to operate until Friday, December 9, but the home page will redirect to the new support site. After Friday, December 9th, the site will be fully retired.

What steps do you need to take?
If you have not already done so:

  1. Update any favorites you may have in your browser.
  2. Please create a new account for the support portal by visiting https://login.ixiacom.com and clicking create new account. (Note: You will need to register using your company email address. Email addresses from public accounts such as Gmail, Yahoo, or Hotmail will not be accepted. ​​​​​​)
  3. You will receive an email from the login portal to confirm your email address. Please click the link in the body of the message to confirm your email.
  4. If you previously had access to the support or BPS portals you will be validated automatically when you create your account on https://login.ixiacom.com.
  5. If it is not validated automatically, you can manually validate your account by entering a product serial number or activation code in the “company” field.
  6. If you previously had access and are unable to validate your credentials either automatically or with an activation code or serial number, please send a message to support@ixiacom.com.

Note: If you previously created an account on https://login.ixiacom.com as part of registration for the latest version of IxChariot, IxLoad, IxNetwork, or Ixia IoT, you do not need to create your account again.
