Winter is (eventually) coming, but before we get there it will be October and time once again for National Cyber Security Awareness Month, a tradition established by the US Department of Homeland Security and the National Cyber Security Alliance. Since 2003, National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM) has been a vehicle for promoting security awareness and best practices both within and outside the industry.
We’ll put it all together for you here on this page.
This year, there are Four Weekly Topics:
- Week 1 (Oct 1-5): Make Your Home a Haven for Online Safety
- Week 2 (Oct 8-12): Millions of Rewarding Jobs: Educating for a Career in Cybersecurity
- Week 3 (Oct 15-19): It's Everyone's Job to Ensure Online Safety at Work
- Week 4 (Oct 22-26): Safeguarding the Nation's Critical Infrastructure
