Ixia's WaveTest Traffic Generator and Performance Analyzers generate thousands of independent, user-defined mobile client sessions to evaluate Wi-Fi network and device performance against real-world conditions. Testing during design and development optimizes functionality, performance, interoperability, and the quality of experience (QoE) delivered by new access points (APs), wireless LAN (WLAN) controllers, user devices, and live network deployments.

Development and QA engineers use WaveTest chassis to explore the impact of diverse client mixes, network configurations, and real-world traffic scenarios on performance. WaveTest chassis are populated with a range of IxVeriWave Wi-Fi and Ethernet line cards to enable realistic simulation of converged wired/wireless network ecosystems.

WaveTest (WT) 92 chassis support up to nine WaveBlade modules for a combined capacity of 18,000 individual WLAN clients per chassis, while the WT 20 features two slots or 4000 total clients per chassis.
